Catvertising

"No one wants to see ads anymore. They want cat videos." Finally, someone said it. Toronto-based ad agency John St., presents this introduction of its new cat-video division with a lot of cheek and a well-placed sniffle. It's obviously a spoof (sample dialogue: "Our goal is to integrate cat videos into every stage of the consumer experience"), but the power of cat videos is too strong to dismiss with a laugh. That's why, when you're done watching this video, you won't remember the cleverness of their P.U.R.R. strategy (Persuasive, Unignorable, Relevant, Rememberable) — you'll remember the dozens of fluffy cats padding around the office, lapping coffee from mugs, and batting at computer screens. It's just so cute. I'm going to watch it again.
