It took a while to finally show up in the App Store and Android Market, but Facebook Messenger was worth the wait for those who are addicted to the world's most popular social network. The app provides new-message notifications, message synchronization to your main Facebook account and group messages with the ability to dynamically add members to the group on the fly. And if you try to connect with a friend who doesn't have the app installed, he or she can get your messages as standard text messages instead.
