The Emperor Scorpion

Found throughout West Africa, the Emperor is one of the largest species of scorpion on the planet, growing up to 8 in. long. Its fat black stinger and claws make the Emperor look fierce, but appearances can be deceiving — these arachnids are actually pretty docile. In fact, they're just about the only monsters on this list that are commonly kept as pets — albeit by the sort of people who own scorpions as pets. If for some reason that includes you, here's a tip: Emperor scorpions like crickets, mealworms and the occasional pinkie mouse.
