The Magic School Bus
This bus — and children's book series — takes its wee readers on adventures in outer space, under the sea and many other places to teach them about science. The students aboard the magic school bus are led by the quirky redhead Ms. Frizzle, or the Friz, as some of the kids refer to her. The energetic teacher instills in her students the need to ask questions, take chances and never stop exploring. In the mid-'90s, The Magic School Bus became an animated television series.
