In the past seven years Maureen Johnson has published seven young-adult novels, which is pretty amazing considering she seems to spend most of her time on Twitter. Named "Most Interesting Twitter User to Follow" in Mashable's 2009 Open Web Awards, Johnson tweets everything. Her missives range from the did-I-say-that-out-loud variety ("Is anyone else annoyed by the word "comptroller"?") to thoughtful discussions about body image in young-adult fiction — usually in the same 24-hour period.
