He may have started off in Spanish cinema at the early age of 8, but these days Bardem is becoming a red-carpet staple. He was first nominated for an Oscar with his Best Actor nod for Before Night Falls in 2000 (even though he lost to Russell Crowe) and won one in 2007 for his supporting role in No Country for Old Men. Most recently he has captivated audiences (and received his third Academy Award nomination) for depicting a single father battling terminal cancer in last year's Biutiful. Plus, he's married to (and just had a baby with) Penelope Cruz.
