All About Eve
It won the Oscar trifecta — picture, director, screenplay — 60 years ago, but Joseph L. Mankiewicz's film about an aging star (Bette Davis) and a scheming ingenue (Anne Baxter) is still the definitive showbiz parable. Now on Blu-ray, it glistens with acidulous wit and malice toward all.
