Volcanic Eruption in Iceland

A clear demonstration of the expanding scope of amateur photography, this photograph was taken by a farmer in Iceland in the early hours of the increased activity of volcano Eyjafjallajökull, which spewed ash into the sky for several days in the spring, disrupting air traffic across the Atlantic and Europe and stranding millions of travelers.
