Bed Intruder

By using the Web to his advantage, Antoine Dodson turned a sobering situation — the attempted assault of his sister — into a chance to financially support his family. When a Huntsville, Ala., news station covered a break-in at the Dodsons' house in which a man climbed through its second-story window, Antoine's over-the-top anger on camera led to unintentional laughs and subsequent YouTube fame, racking up more than 19 million views online. Then, fellow YouTube stars the Gregory Brothers Auto-Tuned his comments and sold the resulting "Bed Intruder Song" on iTunes. The song was a hit, and the group split the profits with Dodson, who reportedly made enough money to move his family to a safer neighborhood.
