"At any moment, Justin Bieber uses 3% of our infrastructure. Racks of servers are dedicated to him. - A guy who works at Twitter"

Leave it to a teen heartthrob to take over the Internet. According to a tweet by blogger and Web designer Dustin Curtis, pop star Justin Bieber takes up a sizable part of Twitter's massive Web server farm. While most big users have dedicated servers at Twitter, Bieber has an unusual hold on the Web. His music videos are among the most viewed in history, and he's one of the most "liked" celebrities on Facebook. But Bieber, who became famous after posting videos on YouTube, has uniquely harnessed the power of the Internet to propel him to superstardom. Offline, he's released a memoir, guest starred on CSI and, oh yeah, made some music too.
