This 1968-73 retrospective of records from the Beatles' label omits the Fab Four's own releases and solo projects but includes killer power-pop by Badfinger, James Taylor's first album, terrific obscurities by Jackie Lomax and Doris Troy and curveballs from the Modern Jazz Quartet and composer Sir John Tavener. And a lot of these discs feature a Beatle or two helping out.
