The Skull of One-Eyed Willie

The 1985 Richard Donner classic The Goonies depicts a rambunctious group of kids on the hunt for a treasure that could save their town of Astoria, Ore., from being razed to expand a local country club. Little Mikey Walsh finds an ancient map that seems to lead to the long-lost treasure of 17th century pirate One-Eyed Willie. Mikey and his pals follow the trail and pursue adventure after adventure all in the name of the "Goon Docks" — what they call their neighborhood. In the end, because Goonies never say die, the kids find the treasure and the skull of One-Eyed Willie and save their homes from destruction.
