Stewart vs. Jim Cramer

Never cross Jon Stewart. When CNBC personality Rick Santelli canceled his Daily Show appearance in March 2009, Stewart took it personally. In return, he decided to rip Santelli's entire network, chiding it for frequent and blatant errors, including what he dubbed dubious predictions by Mad Money host Jim Cramer. Cramer, ever the combative and vociferous television personality, did not take it lying down. He offered a response to Stewart's criticisms, waging war until his March 12 appearance on The Daily Show. Let's just say things didn't end well. Stewart closed with "F__ you," and Cramer told TIME in May 2009, "I was shocked at [Stewart's] behavior. I wish he knew about my background, and I wish he knew about a lot of things that I had done, because I think he would've thanked me instead of attacked me ... It was rather remarkable in that it was so clear that his goal was to just destroy me. One day he'll answer for it."
