Motorola Razr V3

It wasn't until the Razr V3 came out in 2004 that we thought of the cell phone as a fashion accessory rather than a tool. Made from aircraft-grade aluminum, the $500 V3 was the perfect blend of form and function, with a thin 13.9-mm profile, an external color screen and a 2.2-in. color screen on the inside. It also had Bluetooth, the ability to play MPEG-4 video and a camera with 4x zoom. Motorola sold an estimated 110 million V3s over four years.
