Mel Gibson Goes Rogue

In July of 2006, Mel Gibson was arrested in Malibu for drunken driving. The next month he pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor. He was fined, sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to take part in a 12-step program for alcoholism. The bigger story, however, was the anti-Semitic remarks Gibson spewed after he was pulled over. According to the arrest report, which was quickly posted on TMZ, Gibson's tirade included the statement "Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." He soon apologized, but just this year he was back in the news for some more outrageous rants.
