Michael Jordan's Cologne

The 1990s commercial hawking M.J.'s cologne shows Jordan after a shower shaving his head with the words "Go inside." Apparently for most people, go inside meant entering the Chicago Bulls' locker room after a triple-overtime game. The cologne, which featured sneaker-like tread on the bottom of the bottle, was widely lambasted even though it sold well in department stores. But ask any man in the Chicago area whether he considered buying it or even still owns a bottle, and he'll deny it up and down. He would be lying. (Full disclosure: The author used to own Michael Jordan cologne and quite enjoyed it. The author was also 14.)
