Plane Stupid Wreaks Havoc
In June 2009, members of the British environmental action group Plane Stupid dressed up as Donald Trump, barricaded the runway of Scotland's Aberdeen airport and brought with them a set of kids' golf clubs and a miniature course. Unfurling a sign that said "Plane Stupid Scotland Golf Open 2009," they decided to play a round. The nine activists were protesting plans for an expanded airport that would bring in the likes of Trump to play at a nearby course on the Scottish moors. They were arrested and later fined. While the group is mildly amusing (and nonviolent), we think their name says it all.
