He didn't put much effort into the album's title, but "Run Back to Your Side" suggests that this release might showcase Slowhand's guitar-god side more than his maudlin-elder-statesman side. Guest stars include longtime associates (Steve Winwood, J.J. Cale) and a few ringers (Wynton Marsalis!). 9/28
