Hurley by Weezer
Weezer of recent years has been sketchy at best (witness the woeful "Beverly Hills" off Make Believe), but on Hurley — an album named after the Lost character and featuring a goofy picture of actor Jorge Garcia on the cover — head geek Rivers Cuomo has hinted at a return to the band's Pinkerton and Blue Album glory days. The kitschy, hard-rocking "Memories" shows promise. Our fingers are crossed. 9/14
