Deadheads
The top Google result for dead is not a dictionary definition of the inevitable human condition. Rather, it is the official site of legendary psychedelic band the Grateful Dead, whose tie-dye-loving fans have channeled the Haight-Ashbury vibe for decades. Deadheads made a point of following the group — led for 30 years by singer Jerry Garcia — on tour, attending concert after concert, which they were encouraged to record. These fans spanned several generations, persisting long after the end of the hippie era.
