Barack Obama Goes on The View
He's danced to Beyonce with Ellen, and traded jokes with Jay. And now he's about to dish with the ladies of The View. When Barack Obama visited The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on March 19, 2009, it marked the first time a sitting president of the United States appeared on late night television. And now he's about to break the same wave for daytime television on July 29, 2010. When he takes his seat on the couch of The View (well, virtually, at least — the interview was taped July 28), Obama will in many ways be gabbing with a fivesome that's a mirror of America — black and white, liberal and conservative. Save one exception. Three of the women are professional comedians.
