(Worst) The Play About the Baby

Edward Albee, one of our finest playwrights, seems to be running on empty in this pretentious recycling of worn-out themes (old couple vs. young couple; a baby that may be imaginary) with theater-of-the-absurd devices that grew stale years ago. Two more Albee plays are due off-Broadway next year; it's only up from here.
