The U.K.

Leader: Prime Minister David Cameron

What Obama wants: Continued help with Iraq and Afghanistan and a full partner on banking and other financial issues.

What Cameron wants: More movement on deficit reduction and more public acknowledgment of the so-called special relationship between the two longtime allies.

Outlook: Favorable. Obama's best hope for a meaningful partnership with international heft. Although the two men share some political advisers, they need quality face time if they are going to match the impact of the Bush-Blair double act.
