Newhart (1990)
Bob Newhart had so many TV shows — The Bob Newhart Show, Bob, Newhart — that sometimes it's hard to keep them straight. But despite the similarly named series, Newhart's finale remains a singularly memorable episode. The show, about a Vermont inn owner and his wife, ran for eight years. But in the last episode, Newhart's character woke up next to his wife from the original sitcom — The Bob Newhart Show, in which he had played a psychologist — and realized that his life as an inn owner had been nothing but a dream.
