Don't Tase Him, Bro

On Sept. 17, 2007, University of Florida student Andrew Meyer was dragged by police officers out of a forum with Senator John Kerry and Tasered by police for resisting arrest. His indignant cry of "Don't Tase me, bro!" became one of the year's top catchphrases. Meyes had attempted to ask Kerry an accusatory three-part question about why he conceded the 2004 presidential election ("Didn't you want to win?"), why George W. Bush had not been impeached and whether he and Bush were members of the same secret society at Yale. Kerry tried to provide some answers as Meyer, wrangled by police, yelled repeatedly, "What did I do?!" The video has been viewed more than 4.5 million times on YouTube.
