James Kilgore

James Kilgore eluded arrest longer than any of his compatriots in the Symbionese Liberation Army. The radical 1970s group of mostly white, privileged, would-be revolutionaries was responsible for bank robberies, killings and the infamous kidnapping of Patricia Hearst. Kilgore was finally arrested in 1999 and charged with the murder of Myrna Opsahl during an April 1975 bank robbery. He was convicted, but wasn't held for long. After serving six years at the High Desert State Prison in Susanville, California, Kilgore was paroled at age 61.
