Brand New, Big, Beautiful and Busted

You might think that the 18 years it took to complete Terminal 5 at London's Heathrow Airport would have been enough time to work out all the kinks. Instead, the terminal's numerous technological problems due to inadequate software testing and poorly trained staff resulted in British Airways (who uses the building as its global hub) canceling some 500 flights and losing more than 23,000 bags in the first five days.
