When France's Nathalie Pechalat and Fabian Bourzat skated onto the ice in Torino, they looked like they had just survived a particularly violent practice session: their costumes consisted of ripped chiffon decorated with faux blood and ash. Fortunately, they were merely victims of fashion; their costumes were meant to help them interpret the music from Les Misérables.
