I was wondering if Toyota would get a we-screwed-the-pooch ad onto the air, and here it is. In literal black-and-white (for most of the ad), it simply assures those affected by the recall that the company has a solution. Whether the public buys it, after weeks of awful publicity, is another question, but a simple straightforward ad was probably the best of the unappealing options right now.
