Because Everyone Needs More Tiger Jokes
The consummate company man, Jay Leno was loath to say much about the late-night brouhaha. But as critics in the press (and a certain someone over at CBS) gleefully sharpened their knives, Leno finally made a crack about his predicament on his Jan. 15 show: "I'm getting beat up in the press. You know it's bad when Tiger Woods calls to offer p.r. advice." Edginess: definitely not the reason for Leno's getting bumped back to late night.
