Conan Sells The Tonight Show on Craigslist
Unhappy about his impending unemployment, Conan took matters into his own hands on Jan. 13 and decided to raise some money by selling his show on Craigslist. "4 Sale: Barely-Used Late Night Talk Show," read the ad, which has since been removed from the website. The product, which Conan described as "designed for 11:35 but can be easily moved" came with a seven-month guarantee and a stipulation that the buyer honor Barry Manilow's scheduled appearance the next week.
Conan also posted a personal Craigslist ad, this one in the Casual Encounters section of the website. "Tall, Slender Redhead Available for Nighttime Recreation" Conan wrote.
