"White Liar" by Miranda Lambert

Someone is always cheating on Miranda Lambert — and thank God, because no one in Nashville is better at dishing out three-minute bursts of relationship indignation. If the lyrics show a little too much polish from country-song doctors (rhyming liar with fire, for instance) and if the steel guitar twangs precisely where you expect it to, well, so be it. The draw is Lambert's seductively violent vocals — like a polished stone that looks great while it flies through your window.
