Ideas Matter
Drawing from the sharpest minds in his party, and from Republican brains as well, Obama has put a premium on consulting "the best and the brightest" to help solve thorny policy issues, like new regulations for the financial system. But as two Democratic Presidents learned in the 1960s, that doesn't always produce better results.
