What Time Is It?

Anyone who watched the evening news in the 1960s, '70s or '80s will likely remember this admonishment: "It's 10 p.m. Do you know where your children are?" First launched by a small ABC affiliate in upstate New York, the reprimand has since been co-opted by CNBC ("It's 4 o'clock ... Do you know where your money is?"), Monster.com ("It's 6 o'clock ... Do you know where your career is?") and even the Fox show The Simpsons (in one episode, Homer Simpson responds to his TV, "I told you last night — no!").
