Big Sky country is also big skate country. Montana is home to 12 elaborate skateboard parks, and the state has become a popular destination for people who like to grind and perform nollies. The largest of the parks is the Riverside Railyard in Great Falls, checking in at a sprawling 27,000 sq. ft. of bowls, half-pipes and rails. Even if you don't ride a board yourself, it's fun to stop by and watch the experts tear up the course. If nothing else, it means they're not hanging out in front of your local post office.
