There's a reason regular folks aren't allowed to enter the Indianapolis 500, and it involves mangled fireballs and vehicular homicide. That said, just down the road at Indy's O'Reilly Raceway Park, wannabe NASCAR drivers can satisfy their jones for speed on the park's drag strip. Most Tuesday nights, complete amateurs are invited to race their regular, street-legal cars along the quarter-mile track. Come join them, and next week regale your friends with tales of where that dent in your Accord came from. Entry: $15 to race, $8 to spectate
