In 2007, a man named Damon Scott tried out for the first season of Britain's Got Talent by performing Michael Jackson songs with a monkey puppet named — what else? — Bubbles. Not only did Scott win his way onto the show, but he advanced all the way to the finals, finishing in second place. That's right, the Brits almost voted a monkey puppeteer as the most talented person in the nation. Does this explain Susan Boyle's meteoric rise to fame?
