Chang Beats Lendl at French Open

The teenage prodigy had already created a stir at Roland Garros by getting to the fourth round of the French Grand Slam. He wasn't expected to beat the experienced Ivan Lendl and, by the time of the fifth set, the youngster was understandably tired. And that's when things started to get interesting. A clearly fatigued Chang challenged perceived tennis wisdom by lobbing the ball back to his opponent (it was called a "moon ball") and even served underarm at times. Lendl didn't know how to react (uncharacteristically serving up a host of unforced errors) and Chang went on to win the match and, ultimately, the tournament.
