Star Wars (1977)

The film: Choosing just one memorable line from this franchise is tough, even though the prequels spawned more punch lines than catchphrases. But perhaps the most enduring quip came from the very first Star Wars movie, which introduced us to Luke, Leia, Han Solo and their ragtag war to save the galaxy.

The line: "May the force be with you."

The setup: First said by Solo to Skywalker shortly before Skywalker launches his assault on the Death Star. Video of that isn't available online, but it's been used in every Star Wars movie since. Yes, even the prequels. (See above.)
