We get it. Campaigns are tiring. But Obama's May 2008 mix-up was something you'd expect from someone about to graduate from elementary school—not win his party's nomination for President. "I've now been in 57 states, I think," Obama said at a campaign event in Oregon. "One left to go." While social studies teachers were left scratching their heads, conspiracy theorists insisted it was a Freudian slip — the secret Muslim, they gibbered, had been referring to the 57 states of Islam.
