Project Runway

Premieres August 20 on Lifetime

They finally made it work! After The Weinstein Company announced plans to move this catwalk-competition reality show from Bravo to Lifetime, a lawsuit kept the series off the air for months. In the meantime, season 6 was shot, including its spring Fashion Week finale, raising the question: if a reality-show contest is taped and no one is able to see it, does it exist? Fortunately, we won't have to find out: the lawsuit with Bravo parent NBC Universal was settled and the Emmy-winning show will return with hosts and judges, including Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn. Along with it, Lifetime will premiere Models of the Runway, a reality show about the leggy women who wear the fashions wrought by Runway's designers. (Can series about the show's cameramen, caterers and lawyers be far behind?) Mainly, however, we're glad the godmother of all creative-battle reality shows is back, on any channel.
