Hung

To preview Hung is to ask the question: what does it mean to be a "family magazine" in this day and age? Put another way: how specific can we be about what this new comedy's title means? Well, to start, "Hung" does not refer to execution, drapes or an infamous American Idol auditioner. It is, ahem, an adjective. The series (from Dmitry Lipkin of The Riches) is about a former high-school star turned down-and-out middle-aged basketball coach (Thomas Jane) who discovers a way to change his life and career by utilizing a certain physical, um, gift, which is to say — oh, look, it's Anne Heche as the ex-wife! And Alexander Payne directing the pilot! Ahem. Now, what were we talking about again?
