Lil Wayne's Rebirth

After 2008's triple platinum Tha Carter III, Lil Wayne was the undisputed champ of rap. Now he's after a different belt. Rebirth is an all-out rock album — and the summer's biggest roll of the dice, with cameos by Lenny Kravitz, Pete Wentz and Avril Lavigne to go along with punk tunes, live drums, Prince-inspired funk guitars and string arrangements so over the top Coldplay would blush at the lack of restraint. How this will sound, or sell, is anyone's guess, but on degree of difficulty alone, Rebirth is easily the most anticipated record of the season.
