Tip: "Be sure your child is wearing identification," says Dr. Harris. "You can pin it to the back of his shirt or attach it to his shoelaces if he is the kind of child who won't tolerate wearing it. Include the child's name and diagnosis and your cell number and anything that a person might need to keep him safe and calm until you are reunited."
