In His Own Words

Mike Tyson has always been his own worst enemy. As a boxer, he was feared. At his peak, he was unrivaled. But legal problems, miscues and madness outside the ropes have largely overshadowed his accomplishments. It's tough to regard Tyson as a victim — he's antagonizing, polarizing and sometimes downright crazy.

That's why the new Tyson movie is so enticing. It's not only a chronicle of his career, it's told in his own words, hardly a venue in which he has excelled. In one last 90 minute round, Tyson explains himself at last — the triumphs, trials ... and the insanity.
