Shigeru Miyamoto

AGE: 56
OCCUPATION: Video-game designer
PREVIOUS APPEARANCES ON THE TIME 100:

PRO: The Nintendo maestro responsible for such classics as The Legend of Zelda and Donkey Kong scored yet another habit-forming hit with Wii Fit. Like his earlier games, Fit is visually buoyant, tactilely intuitive and highly lucrative, with 250,000 copies sold in the U.S. in its first week.

CON: The Wii needs better games. Not a major note, but: Does this seem to contradict the above statement? Wii Fit was impossible to find for months due to its awesomeness, and Mario Kart and Indiana Jones were pretty great games.
