"Rich Woman"/ "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)", Robert Plant and Alison Krauss with T-Bone Burnett
It's a tad depressing that Plant and Krauss' Raising Sand was named Album of the Year — it is, after all, a covers album that could have been made anytime in the past three decades — but there's no fighting their chops. Opening with the sultry "Rich Woman" to show off the delicacy of their vocal arrangements, they move straight into the rollicking "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)," an up-tempo flyer that proves they can rock, too. You know, for old people. Make sure to tune in two weeks from now, when, in a related industry, old people will give awards to movies enjoyed by old people!
