"Dead and Gone," T.I. and Justin Timberlake
I'm no parole officer, but isn't T.I. supposed to report to the penitentiary one of these days? At least he's taking advantage of every last promotional moment on his "redemption tour," delivering far cleaner rhymes on his second performance of the night than his first. Meanwhile, Timberlake plays the piano and delivers a terrific chorus, but did we really need two performances and an introduction from someone not nominated for anything this year?
Grade: A-
(Update: Of course! I blew it. We saw so much Timberlake because we saw so little Chris Brown, who was performing a last minute gig for law enforcement.)
