7. Gordon Brown Reads Martin Wolf

Wolf's new book Fixing Global Finance is never going to be a best seller, but it was clear that many of the power brokers on hand in Davos had read it and internalized its argument that unbalanced financial flows between Asia and the U.S. were the main culprits for the current crisis. British Prime Minister Gordon Brown seemed to be quoting almost directly from the book when he offered his diagnosis of the world's ills.
