Obama Cigars and Cognac

What's an Inaugural celebration without a drink and a smoke? But it will take a dedicated drinker to hunt down one of the 180,000 750-ml limited-edition bottles of Hennessy 44 ($30). Not every D.C. liquor store will be carrying them, and those that do may not have them in stock for long. Meanwhile, demand for Obama cigars at local D.C. smoke shops has skyrocketed as the Inauguration approaches. While various stores are offering Obama cigars that feature a fun Inauguration-themed band, the Obama Series 44 is a smooth Nicaraguan cigar created by Granada 1524 Cigars. It will be distributed to parties and balls, and is available at a variety of stores ($10-$20 each). Hennessy 44 proceeds will benefit the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
